Nico Blom
Nico Blom regularly performs as an accompanist or organ soloist as well in the Netherlands as abroad.As a continuo player, either playing the continuo organ or the harpsichord, Nico is involved in concerts
and renditions of famous oratorical works.
Furthermore, Nico fulfills the task of standing organist at the Johannes Church in Gorinchem.
Nico Blom’s solo CD “Synesthesia”, during the recording of which the famous Hinsz organ in the
Bovenkerk in Kampen was used, has yielded great appreciation by organ devotees throughout
the world. His CD “Un Sospiro”, containing his own unique arrangements for organ and piano
was listed first during several weeks in the TROS Classical Radio Top 50
and enjoys world-wide interest.
